What do you dislike about Valere Labs?
The early phase of the engagement required more time to align than either side anticipated. The complexity of our vision and the specialized nature of our market meant there was a genuine learning curve for everyone involved. But that’s the nature of building something nobody has built before. What problems is Valere Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a development partner to build a production-ready, AWS-native, multi-tenant AI SaaS platform that automates the federal capture lifecycle. The bar was significantly higher than a typical SaaS build. Our platform handles sensitive data across tenants who may compete against one another, so strict tenant isolation was non-negotiable. We needed an architecture aligned with a FedRAMP Equivalency roadmap from day one, and an AI layer built natively on AWS managed services. Beyond the technical complexity, our product automates a deeply specialized business process with many interdependent steps. This complexity is the world that our customer live in every day as they compete for contracts ranging from multiple hundreds of millions to multiple billions in total contract value. The demand for precision and excellence is high, and we needed a partner to help us deliver.
Valere is helping us automate a very complex, very interdependent business process that sits at the intersection of AI, government contracting, and enterprise software. This required a team effort: we brought the subject matter expertise for what we want the AI to do, our CTO brought his standards for building enterprise software, and Valere brought a development team that contributed new ideas, challenged ideas, and partnered with us to create something unique. The benefit is straightforward: we now have a product in market that is delivering tremendous value to our clients, and a credible path to FedRAMP Equivalency. None of us could have built this alone. Winning is a team sport, and Valere provided the team to help us deliver software that helps our clients win.
